The English dictionary material presented by PolyDict is based on the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, Sixth Edition (LDOCE6). Longman, LDOCE, and the original definitions, examples, audio, illustrations, and related material belong to their respective rights holders.
PolyDict is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pearson. The multilingual translations and this reading interface are produced separately by PolyDict. Translations may contain errors, so the original English entry should remain the primary reference.
